Hello there,

Let’s break down how NetCrunch licensing works in a quick and straightforward way.
With NetCrunch, your license depends on the number of nodes you want
to monitor. A node can be an IP address, a device, a virtual machine,
a URL, or a cloud service. Unlike some others, we don’t limit number of metrics, services, traps or logs that you can monitor.

If you’re mainly tracking switches and routers, just looking at nodes might not give you all the data you need. That’s why we offer additional interface licenses. They cost just 10 cents per interface per month and provide vital info about what’s connected to each port and the traffic they handle.
This data is also used by NetCrunch to detect and draw network topology maps, enhancing your insights.

Lastly, NetCrunch is designed with fault tolerance in mind. We don’t burden users with complex and heavy monitoring server clusters that you need to build yourself.
Instead, we seamlessly support VMware vSphere® Fault Tolerance and Microsoft Failover Clustering technologies, allowing you to ensure your network’s reliability without the headache of complicated setups.

In a nutshell, NetCrunch offers flexible licensing, extra interface licenses for more data, and hassle-free fault tolerance.
